Generator here. I say a perfect day is what ever you want it to be. The 16 hours of work and not eating definitely an ADHD hyperfocus. Have you tried to use timers to remind you to take a break? I am still working my regular job and now I have to look for a new one. I am in a call center that is for medicaid which is health insurance for low to very low income, elderly and disabled that have a lot of medical issues. I have been wanting to get out of this job for a few years now. I did apply to a lot of jobs a few years ago I got interviews but no offers. Now in ADHD fashion I have a deadline of try to get one before Christmas. The budget cuts to our programs are big and I don't want to be there after the 1st of the year when it will happen. My perfect day is when I get to do anything on my to do list that I want to do. Whether that is I get to work consistently on my business, with no adhd distractions or spend time with friends or family. Or finally get a new job offer.

Sorry for just seeing it now.

Actually, a lot of Mani behaviour appears as ADHD - when it's not.

The high productivity VS the nothingness with ADHD comes with emotional changes as well... That's not the case for me. I can see that with other manifestors as well, as almost all of us were diagnosed with ADHD - and every treatment- medical or psychological- always made things worse.

Manifestors are not sutiable for structure- also not the ADHD one.

Manifestors work in bursts. We work days, weeks, months, and then rest for a few months.

If I were to work with a timer, and stop my creativity mid way- I'd revert to a crash burnout cycle almost immediately, and might be down for months. When the work feels like it needs to be done- energy comes from the work itself, and we sleep so much better after.

My dad is also a generator, for him- even the title of the poem stressed him out. I got 4 poems for each type in my book, including for Generators, and your perfect day is much different than mine <3

Manifestor here. Yes you are right as every day is different on how I feel and energy output. I like to write poems too sporadically, usually when I’m super happy or when something crappy happens. But mood tends to be in the middle mostly. But I couldn’t write a whole book of poems. Congratulations!

Just seeing the comments now, was in a rest cycle and then a creative one, and only now remembering comment-back LOL

I was struggling with that book for months. The initial poems came out in days... Editing them took 3 months (50% editing) and then I went to a small cabin in the middle of nowhere to isolate for 5 days- and finished the rest of the editing, the other 50% in 30 minutes LOL .

I guess we just gotta go with the flow, and have faith.

When energy comes- we do. When it's gone- we give into rest without guilt. We just have to trust that it will come again- so we can finish what we've started.

Huge congrats on your book, Mey! I read the Amazon excerpts and teared up, so there's much there that resonates with me. Thank you for this gift to fellow creators....all the best...Pam
